Shoal-draft Cape Dory?

Is there a shoal-draft version of the Typhoon or other CD sailboats? I love the CDs, but I can only get a shallow draft mooring (around 2.5' at mean low water!) I'm trying to make a decision about another boat today. Thanks.

The draft on a Ty is just under 3 feet (2' 7"). There is no shoal-draft version. If I were you, consider a trailer or another mooring. I would buy a Ty before almost anything else. This is a GREAT boat. Good Luck! in your decision.
