The original mainsail on my Weekender (1978) is getting a little baggy, otherwise it is in good condition. I would like to get a few more seasons out of it before replacing. Has anyone had their old main recut so it hangs better. Does anyone know about what it cost to have a main sail recut and is it worth it compared to the price of a new sail.

Re: Having a Sail Recut
time to bite the bullet and invest in new cloth. you only are on this earth for a short time so why deprive yourself of a few real good years of sailing your ty with a nice new rag.
