For those who asked to know.............LaVida has completed her round trip to the Gaspe Penninsula and returned home to Lake Ontario.
1818 nm in just under two months.
Saw over 40 Beluga whales, 7 minke whales and about the same number of seals.
Awesome conditions- good and bad, stunning visuals and lots and lots of BIG ships!
14 locks, 4 lift bridges, one set of rapids (11.9kts over bottom) and some HUGE tides.
Although we did not make our complete voyage goals, we sure had a wonderful time in what we did accomplish.
Thanks to Kim and John for joining us and helping out in some very difficult sailing conditions. Great job guys!
