This Cape Dory Typhoon 18 is the Weekender model and as you probably are aware, has a reputation for sailing like a much larger schooner.
I am listing this boat so cheaply due to some damage incurred by the previous owner while jacking the boat on shore. There is a fairly small area about 4 inches wide (See photos of blocks in front of keel) that is crushed from improper support of the boat, but this could be repaired fairly easily. I do not have the time to put into this project, so it's a great boat at an even better price. This is a great opportunity to own a classic boat for a small investment of labor.
I've never had this boat in the water, but it seems to be very sound except for the previously mentioned damage. The boat has been sitting for several years and needs some work to sail, but could still easily see water this summer with a little effort.
It needs rigging replaced such as rope halyards and sheets, cockpit blocks and cleats. The paint is rough, but could get you through a season after a minor glass repair to the rudder and the minor hull repair. All in all the boat appears to be close to ready for the water after some cleaning and rigging. There are some stains and some spidering in the paint that don't come out in the pictures, but I believe it's just an indication of the age of the boat. The hull is #111.
It includes a mast, boom, spinnaker pole, main sail, genoa, and a near new condition spinnaker. There is no trailer for this boat, but it is easily accessible and close to the highway (I-195) near the Cape Cod bridge.
