I am the owner of a Cape Dory 14’ boat in reasonable condition. The boat is currently in Stockbridge, MA on the Stockbridge Bowl. My husband, who died 2 ½ years ago put in close to $2000 into restoring the wood, cleaning up the hull, replacing the centerboard. The boat has a small motor, an intact sail, oars and oarlocks. I am interested in selling this boat, as I don’t sail. I was wondering if my husband ever joined the Cape Dory Association. His name was Roy Komack. I was also wondering if there was some way to put it up for sale through your members?
Thanks, Lauren Komack

Roy was, in fact, a member of the CDSOA. B-flat Winds is a Cape Dory 14 built in 1972 Hull # 424 according to our records.

Clarinet, perhaps?
He must have been a clarinet player. I'm pretty sure the clarinet is a B-flat instrument, and definitely a woodwind. Or maybe a tenor sax? Either way, it's a great name for a boat.
