Typhoons Galore!
As a past owner of a fine CD27, I have revisited this board from time to time to keep track of some friends. I now sail and race a 17' Townie on Spofford Lake in New Hampshire. But I am never far from Cape Dorys, as I can sit on the deck of my club here and watch 5, yup 5 Typhoons swing from their moorings in our mooring field. Just 24 moorings, and 5 are Typhoons! Life is good.

You should have been down here--Rappahannock River--this past weekend. Over 30 Typhoons arrived for the Typhoon Nationals at the Rappahannock River Yacht Club (co-sponsored by CDSOA and others). It was extremely hot, and Saturday's races were cancelled by the PRO due to lack of wind, but boats were beautiful. The fleet had a great time, except for the lack of wind.

Beautiful boats
Mitch,
I would have enjoyed seeing that....they are such beautiful little boats. Maybe a bit of overkill for our lake, which is 2 miles across and a mile wide, but their owners love them....and the only boats on the lake when it blows over 20 knots (often) are the Typhoons and the Townies!
