Sexy Boat
Seeing as our friends are not actively "pimping" their freshly re-finished CD-36 I figured I'd post a photo.. The boat looks stunning and deserves some "pimping"...

I think she's blushing.
Wow, thanks!
Nothing like spending a winter inside a heated boat barn.

Okay, Since she may never look this good again, here's some more pic's. Deck and hull were all redone. All possible hardware removed (not toerail or cockpit coamings) and rebedded. Old, unused hardware removed and holes filled. Cracks ground out, filled, any wet areas (not many!) repaired. Awlgripped, Cetol'd. Looks like she came out right out of Taunton. Casey Yacht Services in Freeport, ME did the work, Rich provided a lot of grunt work in removing/replacing all the hardware.
Originally we were just doing the deck and teak, and that looked so good we had to do the hull at that point.

Eye Candy
Hey Dick,
You sly one. I caught that headline.
"A fitting bark (barque) for the mascot, Capt Nemo! Beautiful!!"
A person has to be alert on this forum.

My gosh, what a gorgeous boat. Not just the hull and topsides but the attention to detail of the fittings, etc. What an inspiration!!!!!
Now, I need to make a lot more money or not work at all. In the first case, enough money to have someone do the work or enough time to do it myself. Although, I'm not sure I'd have the skill to come out with that kind of result!
Again, a beautiful boat.

Well yes
If you need to match the results of Mike Casey, Ed Mitchell, and Rich Abato... well, it will be a stretch! Fair Warning.I'm not sure I'd have the skill to come out with that kind of result!

Mike Casey was the "eye" that located and sized the new boot stripe. The Awlgrip colors are Oyster White, Desert Sand (non-skid) and Claret for the boot and cove stripe.
