The Model 4000 is the Kenyon replacement model. I put one in my CD-27 a few seasons ago and am pleased with it.Chuck Gombeski wrote: I see several good reports regarding the Origo 2 burner

Re: 25D stove replacement
I have the one burner model and started using it this year. For occasional use, its great. The only drawback is the expensive fuel. A few times a weekend will be $5 to $10 per year, but for every day this would be too expensive.Chuck Gombeski wrote: I see several good reports regarding the Origo 2 burner

It works very well, safe, super simple to install, easy to start and operate (in warm weather that is, I used it indoors during the winter just to try it out and it can be hard to light if it gets cold -- needs some preheating).
Very pleased overall. It helps that I got it 50% off at West Marine ...

Re: 25D stove replacement
After 2 years I am still pleased with my ORIGO 2 burner. It boils water as quickly as my Shipmate kero used to (before the fire). The fuel is not that expensive and the gaskets that come with it seal off the burners to keep the fuel from evaporating when not in use. It also freed up the space that the oven and stove took up giving me much needed storage in the galley area.
