Just loaded the Navionics IPhone app for $7.99. Wow. It won't take the place of a dedicated GPS but it pretty impressive. Any US coastal chart, tides, currents POI's,, all for $8. It's amazing how much they can plug into a iphone. I feel like I just went from the stone ages to the 21st century in one leap.
