motor mount for typhoon

Post by albuckmi »

I recently purchased a weekender project.
She is getting close, but she came without the motor mount.
Does anyone have one for sale?
My boat is a 78 if that matters.
Thank you

Hi,

Try Spartan Marine (http://spartanmarine.com/catalog.html)
or Bristol Bronze (http://www.bristolbronze.com/) Its an expensive part depending upon your wallet but then again all bronze boat parts are expensive..... A member in NJ had one listed a few years ago... used mounts show up periodically. Great boat...have fun. Joe

Thanks for the info. I found new ones for $400. I was hoping to save a little on a used one.
Thanks for the reply.

I saw one awhile back at Wickford Marine Consignment for $250 in Wickford RI. Can't remember if it was an older or newer style.
