Where, oh where, did you get the sliding bar hinge? This is exactly what I've been looking for and can't find. Do you have a source? Please, OH PLEASE!

I was unable to find a source for the hardware. I acquired my sliding assembly from a fellow CD owner who was reworking the interior of his boat.

You should be able to fabricate the assembly out of metal or wood. Here's a link to the photo album containing 2 pictures of the assembly (pictures 1 & 2).

Thank you Forrest! That is very helpful indeed. It seems fabrication is the only viable alternative. I have been unable to locate a source... perhaps because I'm not sure what the fitting is called, which makes it difficult to search for.
