Replacing gate valve with seacock on CD25

I have gate vavles on my CD25.Has anyone ever replaced these with seacocks? Was the job difficult?

I have a 1977 CD, new to me this spring. I attemped this by myself with little success. I cut the hose so the retaining nuts would move without twisting the hose. As it turned out the reason the hose was twisting was the through hull fitting broke loose. I guess it's a two person job. I ended up paying the marina who said it took them 3 hrs with two people.
