Navigation programs for a "MAC"

Looking for navigation programs suited for a Mac, possibly to hook up with GPS, with laptop on board.

Check out Captain Jacks for all types of marine software.

For navigation software for the Mac, look at MaxSea Navigator and <a href="http://www.capjack.com/products/detail. ... NavimaQ. NavimaQ is much more affordable than MaxSea Navigator, depends on how many bells and whistles you want.

Hi Michael,

Our Friends Barb and Lary Bauer live-aboard their 42 ft Whitby, and develop and market navigation software for Mac's. They have a navigation package called NavimaQ. They also make software to hook a laptop to a radio to receive weather faxes. Their web site is:

It also has a lot of interesting notes and photos from their cruising life.
