New Boat For Us
We just closed yesterday on a new boat for us, CD30 Christine C. We bought this in anticipation of sailing further afield in the future. We think that standing headroom will be enough to convince Betsey to try overnighting with us.
Thanks to the CD community members who helped us figure out things in the buying process, especially Neil, Angela & Alisdair.
Jeff
PS we will put Sprite up for sail soon, after I put together a listing.

We love our CD30K and bet you will love your boat too. It is small for its size but as we are finding out now it is a great sea boat. We sailed 144 miles in 24 hours in our first off shore over night sail and the boat did great in every way. Best of luck with your new boat.

New boat !!
Jeff,
Congratulations on finding a great looking boat. I've been waiting in anticipation for a message after ypur last email. Is she the cd30 that was for sale in Whitehaven, NY. If so, I looked at the pictures, and she looks to be in really good shape, well taken care of with some nice features.
Regards, Alasdair.

thanks guys
thanks again for the compliments.
Alisdair, she is from Marshfield, and like the boat you mentioned, very original and very well kept. There is very little to do other than a couple engine issues found at the survey (check your propeller shaft tube integrity).
And John, I should thank you as well: after the nice day on Tantalus at the Misery float in, my wife decided she would enjoy cruising on a larger boat. We'll test that out this summer.

So, can I have my old boat back now?
of course, with all the upgrades you've put into Sprite, I couldn't afford it. I only buy bone-yard boats. Congratulations on a fine vessel. Betsey will be very thankful. No more hitting your head!
