Every time after the heavy rain i notice a water in the tray under the engine of my Cape Dory 25D.Where does it come from?Any ideas?Petr.

If you have "Dorade vents" that ventilate the engine compartment (like on my CD27)you'll notice that the the air vent hoses from those vents lead to the tray. I think in heavy rains only when the wind may be blowing the rain somewhat on an angle, enough water gets into the vents and travels down the hoses and into the tray. I have experienced the same phenomenon during heavy blowing rains. I could be wrong but I don't think so.
