Bermuda Ocean Race

Post by Andy Denmark »

I wonder if there are any Dorians planning to race the Annapolis-to-Bermuda Race starting on June 9? I'm taking "Mavourneen," a Norseman 447, and plan to leave Oriental on June 2, arriving Annapolis +/- June 5. We will be berthed somewhere just behind the AYC along the bulkhead while making last minute preparations --- close to Fawcetts so we won't have to go too far to part with the $$$. Come by for a visit if you're in the area. It would be nice to meet some fellow CD'ers in real life.

I'm hoping to return stateside in time to sail Rhiannon to the Tall Ships festivities in Boston but weather will be the determining factor with that.

For those CD'ers who are hams, we will be meeting the Waterway Net mornings at 0745 with position reports --- 7268 mHz.
