Head Pump Out Problems

Post by Bob Lincoln »

I have a CD 30 and am having a pump out problem. I Held the nozzle in the waste hole and restarted to pump several times. If I raised the nozzle a bit and broke the seal it seemed to work better.
After several attempts I decided to fill the holding tank w/ fresh water to rinse out. The tank would only take 1 - 2 gallons. I went through the process a second time and the same thing happened.Any ideas.

Thanks
Bob

Vent Hose Clog?

Post by Jim_B »

Have you check to make sure the vent hose isn't clogged?

If you have an inspection cover for the tank you might remove it carefully to let air in while you pump from the deck fitting (if that is where you pump out from.)

Thanks for the help. I removed the anti siphon air vent and removed the view cap and was able to pump out.
