I am curious if anyone has any information on a Cape Dory 14 cat boat. It has been 15 to 20 years since I have sailed in it, so my memory may not be quite correct on all of the details of the boat. I hope to be able to get the boat and restore it. My biggest concern is that the sail is gone. I saw the boat in March of this year and the rest of the boat still seems to be in good condition.
As I recall the mast was unstayed and in two parts. Raising the main also raised the top of the mast which then locked into place in a straight line with the bottom of the mast. It was not a gaff rigged boat.
Thanks in advance for any information
