CD 25 Trailer needed in South Texas (rent, borrow, or buy)
I need to transport a CD 25 from Galveston to Corpus. I don't really want to own a trailer but need to use one. Any suggestions?

My trailer for my trphoom is in Gregory at the storage lot. It is home made. You can look at pictures of it on my website or at the storage lot and see if it will work for you. kaldenbach,us

Hey Kevin,
Thanks for the note. Can you post or send a link to your website? Do the pads on your trailer adust up and down?
I've admired your Ty sitting in the Gregory lot from the road while driving back and forth to work. I noticed it missing lately.
Thanks!!!

I've got a 25D trailer in San Antonio. You probably wouldn't even have to adjust the pads. I moved Pearl down from Eagle Mountain Lake in Azle, TX and now she sits at Island Moorings in Port Aransas. It was a long slow haul but got there safely. I just checked the trailer lights and they seem to be working. The pads are in my attic and should be in nice shape. Tires? I really don't know what to inspect. You would have to take a look. I can take some pics if you like.
Your Catalina sucks

It is a small world. We kept our Typhoon on Eagle Mtn. Lake. Now it and our CD31 are at the city marina in Corpus. Us local CD people need to get together.

Neat!
I am not so local. I live in San Antonio but travel to Port A and Corpus all the time. Pearl sat on Eagle Mountain for about 10 years. Job moved me to San Antonio and I figured I was close enough to put Pearl in the salt water.
I sailed Pearl last weekend. Too hot during the day so we went for a night sail. Beautiful weather for a night time sail. Moon was high and wind was around 10 to 15 knots. We sailed over to the CC marina and back. About 30 miles round trip. My crew was passed out by the time we made it back so I sailed solo while the rest slept in the cabin.
Sorry to hi jack the trailer post. But you are right we need to learn a few things about each others boats. I've never seen the inside of another Cape Dory except my own. Strange huh?
