Typhoon Easy Rider

Just want to say that I am the one who bought Easy Rider and I can't wait to get her in the Atlantic. I really appreciate working with Win and wish him well on his move.

PLiberty,
Congratulations on a very unique Typhoon. I remember seeing pictures that Winthrop had posted a few years ago and reading about his modifications and adventures. A very cool little boat. I hope you'll keep us updated with what you and Easy Rider are up to.

East Rider Sails Again

Post by PLiberty »

For those who knew Winthrop's Typhoon Easy Rider, she is now mine in South Florida. I received the boat and about 6 boxes plus the cabin was stuffed full of gear. It has been fun figuring out what Win had in mind for all of the gear - "oh THAT's where that goes!"
Bottom and boot stripe are painted, electric is almost done (need a battery to light it up) VHF installed, etc and we got her into the Atlantic Ocean a few weeks ago for a day sail. Wind has died down but will pick up soon. Trailer launched at a busy ramp and did not embarass myself. Hope to get more pics to post soon.
