I am seeking a stern chock for a 1974 Cape Dory Typhoon. Does anyone know where such parts for Cape Dories may be obtained?

I think Spartan made all the hardware for Cape Dories. I just checked in their catalog and found what looks like the straight chock on the stern of our own Typhoon. They are listed by length of base at 4, 5, and 6 inches, both polished and unpolished.

Spartan's phone is listed as 1-800-325-3287.

Hope this helps.

If you are shopping, I have replaced both of my CD26 stern chocks with Spartan versions which allow double lines (1/2" for my size boat) for hurricanes. When I look at their size (Spartan bronze #C200,List aprrox $16 ea)I picture they are perfect for the Ty, Ty Senior, or CD22. Both are in good shape for #10 fasteners...would apply some additional polish to them if you would like them...($18 for pair, I pay for ship in US)

Also I you should be looking for an bronze anchor chain hauser/cover (Spartan #C213 "chain deck cover") for getting that anchor rode/chain into the boat's forepeak area....(lists approx $70, mine for $30 and I pay for the ship in US) Dimensions, picture available if needed....
