I have a 1976 CD28 sailboat, MD2B Volvo. The mounting bolts that attach the motor mounts to bed are broken. Are these hanger bolts(half lag bolt, half stud)and any tips on getting them out?

If its, like my 1974-with the same motor-the bolts are part of the mount-the rubber mount has the stud molded right into it-they should be available through a volvo dealer-you will have to unscrew the top and bottom nuts-good luck-I don't think these should ever break in ordinary useKevin Warren wrote: I have a 1976 CD28 sailboat, MD2B Volvo. We have a CD30 and I pulled out the CD owners manual because I recalled there being a cross sectioned drawing of the bed and mount. I've never had occasion to remove one but here are the particulars.
The drawing indicates for the 25, 27, 28 and 30 that the bed has a metal plate (thickness unknown) glassed between the bed filler and the top glass layup of the bed. The metal plate is tapped and hex bolts are used to fix the engine mount to the bed.
