Amazon's Lemon Oil

Post by North Branch »

I'm looking for Amazon's Lemon Oil for my interior teak. All the marine supply websites say it is out of stock or no longer available. Does anyone know where I can buy it or can you suggest an alternative product? Thanks!

WM used to carry lemon oil which I have been using on the interior wood for over a decade. You might want to check to see if they still carry it. Good product with the added plus that it prevents mold.

I actually prefer Weiman's Lemon oil and most importantly it contains NO SILICONE. Be very careful with some lemon oils as they can and often do contain silicone. This will make your interior 100% impossible to ever finish/varnish/polyurethane/danish oil etc. in the future.

Oh and best of all available at most any local supermarket or many hardware stores for a lot less than a "marine" lemon oil..

Amazon's Lemon Oil

Post by North Branch »

Thanks everyone. If you follow the links for West Marine, Jamestown, etc, it is out of stock and no longer available. I ordered some Amazon's Lemon Oil from Pleasure Marine, but it turned out to be unavailable. They are trying to do a special order. If they can't get it, I'll try Weiman's.

Amazon's Online Ordering Not Working

Post by North Branch »

I tried the Amazon's website. When I added Lemon Oil to the Shopping Cart, it said the online ordering was temporarily unavailable. It said to give them a call, which I'll do. Weimans sounds good. I'll see if our Ace Hardware has it.

Amazon's Available Again

Post by North Branch »

I couldn't get Weiman's Lemon Oil at Ace Hardware. But I called the Amazon's manufacturer and was able to order it directly from them. They had stopped making it but, due to demand, they are making it again. Thanks for the help on this!
