CD25D prop
Anyone know the correct diameter and pitch of the 3 blade 25D prop?
Thanks

Depends on the HP & output RPMs from your transmission. There were lots of options (from Cape Dory) and she could have been repowered by a previous owner...

Re: CD25D prop
My former 25D with the identical engine went well with a 3-blade prop, 12-inch in diameter with 9-inch pitch.yachtbroker wrote:Anyone know the correct diameter and pitch of the 3 blade 25D prop?

I second John V's recommendation
FWIW, I've got a 25D with the original 1GM, and my prop has the same specs as John's.
I'm not sure that the prop is original, as the PO worked for a boatyard and often scavenged parts from other vessels.

If you're looking for new prop and have your full specs (engine, HP/RPM curve, aperture size, transmission gearing, etc.), I would suggest checking out a Campbell Sailor prop.
