CD 10 age and stain/varnish color?

Post by Nick Plakias »

I have two questions: 1.) How do I find out the age of my CD 10, hull #1331? and, 2.) Can someone suggest a stain/varnish combination to restore my CD 10's very weathered mahagony trim to its original color (a dark reddish brown, if the undersides of the seats tell the truth)? Many thanks to those replying.

Don't have an answer but thought you might be able to help me. I have found a CD 10 sailing dingy completely rigged. The boat is all fiberglass with the exception of the rub rail. The boat is 10-15 years old and I am trying to figure what to pay for it. What did you pay for yours and would you know whom I might ask. Thanks
