outboard motor shaft length, CD25

What is the consensus on outboard motor shaft length for a CD25? long at 20" or extra long at 25"

25. Especially in rough weather to keep the prop in the water.

I agree - 25 for sure

Not only will the 25 keep your prop in the water in rough weather, but the lower point of thrust on a 25 inch shaft gives more thrust in all conditions.

CD 25. I would go for the 25" length.
