Does anyone know where I could get opening ports that would fit a Typhoon? I tried 4" ones from West Marine, but there wasn't enough height on the cabin for the flange.

Doug,
I looked for this option last year and did not find opening ports that had a small enough flange for the curve of the cabinsides. I ended up with fixed bronze portlights from ABI and they were fairly simple to install and for $100 make the boat look $500 better, easily!. They are the 4" round deadlight model. Get the interior finish ring for the extra $8. Good luck.

Doug: I installed the 4" West Marine working ports on my 79 Typhoon. I had to grind off 1/4" of the flat flange ring.Doug Tanner wrote: Does anyone know where I could get opening ports that would fit a Typhoon? The inside has enough room. Looks great and the added air flow will be a plus.
