Your boat

Post by coachd »

John, I would love to be the new owner of your boat. However, I live on the east coast and have to enquire about the cost of shipping it back east. Thank you,

Shipping costs

Post by John Vigor »

Mike, last time I checked into shipping costs they were about a dollar a mile. It depends on who has an empty truck coming back from where at what time. And the price may have gone up by now. I know there is a website somewhere that lets haulers bid for your business -- anybody remember it?

Anyway it's an expensive way to buy a boat and if I were you I would watch for a boat on the East Coast where they are much more plentiful.

Cheers,

John V.

Scroll to the top of this page and click on the CDSOA logo, that'll get you to our home page. Then use the menu on the left side of the page and select:

Where to Look -> Boat Transport

There are alot of haulers on the list. Though I don't have any experience with them you may want to try uShip Boat Transport .
