Hi Folks-
I will be reworking the nav station on my 330 and would love to see some photos (as much detail as you might have) of what fellow 330 sailors have done with their nav station. Up top, the space for both storage and instruments is limited and what's there doesn't suggest any obvious best use. So post what pics and suggestions you might have. Thanks! Down below the chart table, I don't have the original stool. Unless I can find a swing out stool, I expect I'll try to replicate Ralph's removable seat. If anyone has taken a different approach (one possibility being to forego the sit down nav station and expand the storage space underneath) I'd love to see that too.
(Ralph's very nice seat is here: http://picasaweb.google.com/Walthorp/Li ... 1327393842)
Thanks
Matt

Hi Cathy -
Picassa is pretty easy to post from when they are your own photos. In this case, they are on Ralph's picassa page (s/v Liberty). The only way I know to post them, would be to download them and post them from my own page. While I did rip them for my own later use (Ralph had generously posted the link I added in an earlier thread), I didn't feel quite right publishing them from my own page. By posting the link, Ralph still maintains the same control over them which he had when he originally posted. Anyway, that was my thinking . . ..
Thanks again for opening up this new section -- pictures are a great resource!

Here is what I am working with
So here is the raw space. It's great to have the chart table to begin with, but the way the space is designed is lacking. The top "shelf is nearly 13" deep at its most forward point --but only 5" high. The bottom "shelf" is no better -- and is constricted by the need to open the tiny chart table
Among the items I'd like to accommodate are a battery monitor; the bilge switches and counters seen in the photo; a chartplotter a VHF and possibly an SSB (probably a large unit - 12x12x4.5").
If you have endeavored to maximize this space and can share some photos of it, it would be wonderful to see what others have done.
Thanks!
Matt
