It's true........ CDOSA members and Former members as well. Met secretly in NYC. First observing a wonderful exhibition at the New York Public Library, celebrating mapping of New York's shoreline. Fantastic exhibition.

Then off to Artisnal for a wonderful dinner with robust discussion of Cape Dory's, a bit on cellos and of course violins.

What a night !!!!!

The Artist is not born to a life of pleasure.
He must not live idle;
he has hard work to perform,
and one which often proves a cross to be borne.
He must realize that his every deed, feeling, and thought
are raw but sure material from which his work is to arise,
That he is free in Art but not in life.

'Twas a great evening. I must comment that the photo is a tad fuzzy. The cameraman waiter was rock solid and the camera was dead sharp. Its just that the cadre in the photo spent some time at the bar before the photo was taken and the camera accurately caught the resulting fuzzy state we all were (blessfully) in!! :D

Frightening!

Post by Clay Stalker »

That is the most frightening photo I have ever seen! What could they be planning?? Who is in charge?? This will surely push the homeland security code right up to red and sailors everywhere will be jumping off their sailboats in fear. Heaven help me.....winter has been long and I am losing my mind.....

Has the photo been retouched? You all looked so different in the Victoria's Secret catalog.

To give full credit to Jonathon Swift, because our online legal staff may require it. "When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him."

fuzzy

Speaking as one of the fuzzies, I can attest to the verity of this fuzzible report. The fuzziness was pervasive, I am most happy to report. Having been appropriately fuzzified by this great reunion,
I'm also glad to note that the warm fuzzy feeling is still with me!

Quite the evening

That was a fantastic albeit brief evening. We have all decided to meet again on the water during the season. Mariners beware!
