Thanksgiving in the Bahamas

Post by Boyd »

Hi All:

We just got back from 2 weeks in the Abacos, thought you might enjoy some pictures.

Coming into West End I was surpirsed to find a cooler being towed across the channel. I guess a guy towing a cooler has the ROW. All I can figure is he was fishing for Conch.

<a href="http://s533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip038.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip038.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Tern anchored off of Powell Cay with starfish in foreground. Tern is way back.

<a href="http://s533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip039.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip039.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Eliane reaches for the stars.

Gee I guess there was not much wind last night!

<a href="http://s533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip050.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip050.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

If you happen to stop in CooperTown get a loaf of Charlene's homemade bread.... took us a week to eat it. :)

<a href="http://s533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip011.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i533.photobucket.com/albums/ee33 ... rip011.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

And the sunsets are amazing.

Hey Boyd... looks like you had a grrrreat time! Did you think about the rest of our CD friends up north under the monster snow storm? The water is so clear and inviting. Loved those pictures. :D

Thanks for sharing Boyd, those look like sweet cruising grounds to access over a two week window.
