Now that the snow is flying, I've begun editing some video from our 2008 summer cruise to Charlevoix and Beaver Island, Michigan. The first video covers our trip north as far as Manitou Passage. My six-year-old son accompanied us for the first week, along with my brother and his fiancee. Stops included the usual from St. Joseph - Holland, Pentwater, White Lake - before arriving in Charlevoix. The crew left us in East Jordan, and my dad and I continued the cruise alone, heading to Grand Traverse Bay and then on to Beaver Island.

We spent several days at anchor in St. James Harbor, Beaver Island, before sailing north over the top of the island and down around the west side and on to Pentwater (those videos are forthcoming).

The weather was most cooperative, and Ariel did what she does best without issue.
