"Easy Rider" photos

Post by EO »

Greetings all.
Some time ago, when I first found this site, I remember reading about and and seeing pictures of Winthrop Fishers' boat "Easy Rider". I was quite impressed with the the work he had done on her, and was enthralled with the stories he shared about his off shore excursions with her. I've recently tried to search this site for those photos, using nearly every parameter I could think of, and have looked through about 150 previous posts... to no avail. Does anyone know which post(s) I'm referring to, and where they are? At least the date on which they were posted? Perhaps they've been removed? Or maybe it was a link to another site? Help in finding these would be greatly appreciated, and could serve me well in planning some winter projects. I would be honored to hear from The Man himself, Winthrop. Thanks.

Dead Link

If you search "rider" you'll get a list that includes Winthrop's post of photos in February 2004. Unfortunately the link to the photos is dead (i.e. no longer exists). That is one disadvantage of including photos on a site like this. It is up to the poster to maintain those links, and few people will bother or remember to go back and edit those postings years later when they change their computer set up. So if you see a photo you want to remember, copy it and save it on your own computer while it's still there. You could probably get the photos by sending a private message to Winthrop.
