vacuum sealers

Post by Big E »

Does anyone know of a good heavy duty vacuum sealer system that doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I'm envisioning being able to toss marinated meats into my one icebox along with beer, soda, etc. Ziplock bags often leak into my ice rendering it unusable for cocktails. All responses appreciated

It depends on what you mean by an arm and a leg. We spent under $100 for ours and have had it for over 5 years. They are often on sale at Walmart, Target, etc.

We use it for everything from sealing important papers, engine parts and of course food. We do have refrigeration, but food keeps much longer, can't say exactly how long. The best advantage is freezing meals and using like a boiling bag on the boat. No mess!!
