I am planning to take Dayspring, a CD30 Cutter based in Nelson, New Zealand, on a single handed voyage from NZ to Fiji in a couple of months. Welcome any comments from experienced CD30 loners. She has a Monitor Windvane, Autohelm 3000, and I am about to fit an ICOM 710 SSB. Has anyone any comments about the antenna loading characteristics of the backstay on a CD 30 ??
Email address is 106452.2173@compuserve.com, or temporarily ( for the next month) at seaeagle@super-hub.com, which is a slow speed satellite link to a vessel I will be working on in Taiwan.

Re: Single Handing in a CD30
Murray, I sent you an email at the seaeagle address. Did you get it? If not, I'll resend it. For others who may be lurking here, the short version is I think your set up will work fine.Murray Glue wrote: I am planning to take Dayspring, a CD30 Cutter based in Nelson, New Zealand, on a single handed voyage from NZ to Fiji in a couple of months.
