Abandoned Typhoon WE

Probably abandoned, that is. Seems deserted. She's been at the back of Dodson Boatyard in Stonington, CT for a long, long time. There's a 22 there, also, across the road behind a shed. We've seen photos here of boats in far worse shape. If you are looking for a lovely boat to rescue, you might inquire at the yard offices.

We hate to see these 2 boats with no TLC, giving no one pleasure.

There's also an abandoned Typhoon in Morgan, NJ. She has also been sitting lonely at the back of the yard. She was recently moved due to some construction work but she's still in need of new owners who can give her ALOT of TLC.

I checked with Lockwoods - by coincidence,my former yard - and they report the Typhoon was destroyed some time ago.

Oh! We haven't seen her lately and I'd wondered what happened. I wonder how she was destroyed? I'll have to ask. That's sad.

I checked with Lockwoods - by coincidence,my former yard - and they report the Typhoon was destroyed some time ago.

She was still at Lockwood's this spring. I'll have to check again the next time we go down to the boatyard (which would be tomorrow after the rain stops).

I checked at the yard at Lockwood's today and that little Typhoon was indeed cut up. They did it in August. (They were cutting up another boat today -- a huge powerboat.)
