New, as in "in the box unwrapped, still in the shrinkwrap," etc.? Thanks for additional info.

Standard Horizon VHF

Post by Timsmale »

New in Oct. 2007, but rarely used, and I don't have the box any longer. I wanted to install it near my steering station but decided later that I didn't want to put anymore holes in the boat. Instead, I wired it up for power and integrated the DSC function into my GPS, put in on Velcro, and placed it on top of my swing mount radar. I used my other Uniden VHF because it has a mic/speaker combo that I could hear easier with the motor on, so this Standard Horizon VHF became a just a backup unit. I'll take a picture and send it to you by email if you want. Thanks for inquiring. Your unspoken point is clear - it's not really "new" any longer, so I removed that phrase. Price is somewhat negotiable. It works just fine, and if you're not happy, return it for a full refund.
