I just missed you guys by a few days, on our way back from Block Island. I did manage to get one good shot of Tantalus in Onset with the railroad bridge and the windmill in the background.

Love the Dismal Swamp...

My mom lives in NC and we stop at the Rte. 17 visitor's center on the Dismal Swamp every trip down. I always walk over to the water to take a look and see if any boats are tied up at the dock. Hope you crossed the swing bridge there and visited the visitor's center at the park too.

Cathy, Bruce, Mike Evan, JW and all:

I for one really appreciate you taking the time to post your photos. Living in the monotonous heat and humidity and "flatness" of South Florida, it is great to be able to look at photos of New England and east coast sailing and dream about the beautiful waters, rocky and mountainous shore lines, cool temps, low humidity, chilly nights.

Your photos are terrific and take me to places I will probably never visit but are places I think about often.
