CD25 forward hatch

Post by SusanM »

My 1977 CD25's forward hatch is in a pretty sad state with cracks that appear someone may have dropped something rather
heavy on it.
Any ideas on who might have a mold to replace this? Thank you much.
PS This is a very helpful site and a great group of folks!

Foward Hatch

The forward hatch on my CD31 was made by Bomar and can be quite expensive. You can replace the "glass", actually lexan, there is a thread on the board about it.

I routed out a circle in my CD-25 forward hatch cover and covered it with lexan. That added a lot of light below yet outsiders could not see in.

I cut a similar circle in mine and added a solar fan. You may be able to repair the one that you have.
