Dropping price from $8,000 to $7,000. Added picture of the boat on her trailer.
1982 Cape Dory 22 comes with trailer, 2003 4-stroke Yamaha electric start and heavy duty outboard motor bracket, much easier to lift up. Depth sounder / GPS chart combination. Cushions original condition with no tears or rips. Sails are good to very good condition. Sails include main, jib, storm jib and 140% genoa and spinnaker. Bottom will be pressure washed and repainted with anti-foul for this spring. On trailer and ready to go in the water, nothing needs to be done and wheel bearings were repacked Spring '07. Speedometer works most of the time unless a critter gets into the wheel but I mostly rely on the GPS readout anyway. The boat was in fresh water until 2004. A real nice boat because of the long fresh water life. Comes with the usual ground tackle.
The boat is currently on the trailer at a yard in South Bristol, ME and may be viewed by appointment. I have already paid for launching so if you would be using the boat in this area, the mast will be stepped and the boat launched for you free of charge.
I plan to launch in Late June, after which the boat may be viewed on the water as the good lord intended, in Pemaquid, ME.
I am selling because my father is using his larger and more comfortable boat less, and has offered for my family to use it more.
I'm asking $7,000.
Thanks, Ben
