1978 CD 27 with one cylinder Yanmar Model YSE
Prop is secured on shaft with two nuts 1 1/4" and 1"
Should there be a zinc attached to the two nuts? If not what zincs are recommended and where should they be mounted.

The trouble with the CD27 is that there is very little space in the cavity that the prop sits in for many nuts to fit. Boatzincs.com was very helpful, charged fair shipping and gave me no problems with returns when I ordered one that didnt fit.
I used a perry nut with a 3/4-10 thread shown at this link http://boatzincs.com/perry-nuts.html . It fit perfectly. I had to clean up the threads with a hex die to get it to screw on.
