Who knows the sail area of the mainsail alone on a cd 28? I am planning on replacing my traveler. I would love to hear any experiences on this.

main sail
CD 28 main sail is approx 200 Sq Ft. You can do the math with the P and E dimension.
On our CD 28, Intrepid, the main sheet and main sheet traveler were both on the back deck. I found it easy to sit at the front end of the tiller, and handle the main sheet and traveler. I had rigged the traveler with 1 continuous line. You never have to "find the other line".
