I'm having a friend make a hank on headsail bag for my Ty Weekender. I want to leave the Genoa hanked on. I estimate that it is a 150%. Has anyone made one and can you pass on dimensions, tips., etc.
Thanks,

tips for a headsail bag
I have one for my 25 and I love it. If I could make mine better, I would like it a bit larger. Also, I'd make it so the zipper slide can not come off or else attach a lanyard to it. Otherwise, you will loose the slide overboard. I learned this the hard way. I would also like a zipper that zips from the top back and down the following edge not the forward edge. I don't know if this design is possible. Mine zips on the lead edge and the zipper chafes on the forestay which tends to pull the zipper apart. I think it would be better if the bag folded around the forestay with an extra layer of fabric where it rides against the stay.
