Hi,
I need to pick up insurance coverage for my CD-25, but I don't have a survey. West Marine suggested an inspection of some sort. Has anyone else done this? Can anyone recommend a surveyor/inspector near Marblehead MA? The boat is on stands in my yard now.

I used Gene Barnes in Gloucester [978 281-6040] to survey my 25D. He's very thorough. Several friends were also satisfied with his work. I paid a little over $300, but it may be less expensive without the engine.

I used Norm LeBlanc in Salem. He found nooks and crannies on LIQUIDITY I've not rediscovered. <g>
Phone was 508 744 8289, but I'm sure the area code for Salem has changed.
Aside from the insurance aspects, a good survey will give you a list of projects.
