Save the 25D/ Molds for Sale

Post by Karl Westman »

Fellow Sailors,

I own the 25D and 26 hull molds. A couple years back, under the name of Ocatvia Marine, I tried to market this beautiful little yacht. I failed...a learning experience, but no regrets. I've had to destroy the deck and liner molds...too bad to restore, but the hulls have been stored upside down and with a somewhat modest investment could be brought back to life.

I'm willing to sell or be part of a contortium to move the project along. Imagine this Alberg design with a re-thought rig, interior and deck layout.

Any takers? the Molds are in Mass. I'll soon be forced to destroy them. 3k or best offer.

If you love the 25D so much, wouldn't you rather give the molds away for free rather then destroy them??????????????

Why don't you try and sell or donate them to Robinhood? Better to donate them than destroy them, the later doesn't do anyone any good. Sorry your business endeavour didn't pan out. Speaking for all the people out there that can appreciate such a nice little yacht...thanks for giving it a try!

Robinhood might have some interest. If they won't buy them, maybe they would take them in exchange for a royalty arrangement if they put the 25D back in production.
