Good Old Boat (the magazine) published an article in the last issue that described a do-it-yourself method for engine removal. It's not that hard. I just replaced the engine mounts on my CD33 and had to partially remove the engine to do it. I used a come-along to lift the engine off the old mounts. I didn't go as far as disconnecting the fuel lines, electrical connections, etc. but if I had I'm sure that removing the engine wouldn't have been very hard.
