Converting my CD30MKII to a cutter

I am considering converting my CD30MKII to a cutter which I understand was one of the factory options. I would like to hear from current owners who have the vessel configured as a cutter or others who have made that change as to sailing characteristics and the difficulty of the conversion.

Ocean Navigator September 1993 has a article about adding a staysail I'll fax it to you if you like. I'm planning on doing the same thing to my 28 and have done lots of reasearch on it. Jack
