Fore/Aft Center of Gravity on CD28?

Post by Denny Fike »

To properly position my CD28 on a trailer, which I'm about to finish, I need to locate the fore/aft center of gravity. I'm hoping someone has found it in similar attempts. I'd like to eliminate the trial and error of positioning the boat on the trailer to find the right set-up.

Denny,
I had the same problem when I built my trailer. I moved the axles last year and shortened the tongue and I think I'm pretty close. I only pull it 2X yr. To launch and to store. Top speed 40mph. If you don't get any better answers I'd be happy to take any measurements you would like. (It's in a heated building in the back yard).
