After a wonderful cruise in Maine's Casco Bay, LaVida is turning her bow back towards Lake Ontario for some unanticipated refittng before the next leg.

LaVida is entering the Erie Canal
After a realllllly fast passage from Maine, LaVida is now knocking on the gates of the first lock in the Erie Canal Westbound.
Lake Ontario bekons and soon we will be within our home waters.
Looking forward to seeing all the Great Lakes Fleet members upon our arrival.

LaVida reaches her home port
We are pleased to announce that we've reached our home port and thankful that we've had a safe and wonderful round trip cruise from Olcott to Casco Bay, Maine and return.

That must be a bummer. I trust you enjoyed Maine; I sure have the couple of times I've sailed those waters (although I launched at Rockland and sailed in the area from there to Southwest Harbor).
