trawlers

Post by Mike Strickland »

Hello. I am the publisher of an online magazine www.pilothouseonline.com dedicated to the trawler community. We are doing an article on pocket trawlers 30 feet and less. I believe Cape Dory makes such a creature, can anyone help with ideas or models? Also did Cape Dory change to Robinhood yachts? Do they make a pocket trawler?

Thanks you, Mike e-mail editor@pilothouseonline.com

I have a CD 24' trawler, too. It has the 30hp Westerbeke, pilot house, lobster boat hull, and the CD sail rig for it (big roller furling, lapper jib and a tiny main, more of a steadying sail). I posted information about my boat on this website some time ago. You might check it out among older messages.
